Through the Scottish Clan Fraser of Lovat our Chairman Joerg has received the honour to bear the name Fraser as an additional name (see Boll O’ Meal Fraser) and to represent the Clan in Germany. At the beginning the clan consisted only of his family, as it could not be more fitting. Little by little, loyal friends and companions were found, who still shape the clan today and make it alive. Therefore he founded the “Friends of Clan Fraser of Lovat Germany” in 2017.
After the close contact with the clan in Scotland, the long awaited letter from Simon Fraser, the 18th Lord Lovat, 5th Baron Lovat and 25th MacShimidh reached us on 8th February 2019. He confirmed to us that we are now officially allowed to represent the clan as the only representative in Germany. The birth of the “Clan Fraser of Lovat Association of Germany”.
